After lighting up and getting the munchies, a group of vulgar teenage girls with a complicated history stumble into a botched robbery at their local convenience store. They must squash their giggles and formulate a plan to make it out alive.
Brittany Alexia Young is a Florida-born filmmaker based in LA, telling genre-blending, coming-of-age films following black, queer protagonists without centering trauma. Following her career playing Division 1 lacrosse at the University of Delaware, she earned her MFA at Florida State University’s College of Motion Picture Arts, where she was honored with the program’s coveted Strickland Pathfinder Award. Her films have screened at festivals including Palm Springs International ShortFest, NewFest, and the National Film Festival for Talented Youth, where she earned an audience award and the Kathy Reichgerdt Inspiration Award. Her most recent project, 'MUNCHIES,’ has been supported by the WAVE Grant, Inside Out’s Re: Focus Fund, and Decentralized Pictures’ Keslow Camera Award. She is a Future of Film is Female x NEON Grant Recipient, a TDE Short Film Fund Recipient, and a 2025 Sundance Ignite Fellow.

Via Detroit and London, Meredith Dobbs is an award-winning Brooklyn-based director, writer, producer, and editor. Her films are usually love stories, exploring the in-between bits rather than the happily-ever-afters. She has a background in improv dramas, sketch comedy, and watching romcoms.

Jillian Iscaro is a director, producer, and editor based in Brooklyn. She combines her background in the fine arts with inspiration from her dreams to bring projects to life - finding that sweet spot between fantasy and reality. She has a strong interest in science fiction and explores themes around eternity, existence, and technology, layered with threads of gender, race, and sexuality. She has worked with brands like Spotify, Nike, New Balance, and Levi's, and brings her strong post-production background into every project. In her downtime, she enjoys painting, boating, and snowboarding, and can often be found grabbing a cappuccino at her favorite local coffee shop or perusing the shelves at a used bookstore. She is also the founder of moonland.tv, a creative production and post company.
