Sean Mowry is a documentary director and editor who is fascinated by craft and history. His short documentary, All the Queens Houses, is about to make its festival premiere in November. It's the story of architect and artist Rafael Herrin-Ferri's work, capturing the surprising beauty of New York City's largest borough. Sean has worked in postproduction on a wide variety of series such as Frontline (PBS), The Circus (Showtime), and Beat Bobby Flay (Food Network). For Artists & Beers, he is excited to share another side of his creative work: music videos.

He is currently working on his Senior Thesis film at NYU, which he hopes to get to the festival circuit after graduation.

Born Michael Weverstad on December 24, 1977, in Detroit, Michigan, Raymond-James trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute after beginning his career on the stage. He gained recognition for acting roles such as René Lenier on True Blood, Britt Pollack in Terriers, and Neal Cassidy/Baelfire in Once Upon a Time. More recently, he branched into filmmaking: his directorial debut short, The Missing Peac,e earned him awards including Best First Time Male Director, Best Indie Short, and Best Original Screenplay.
